I just discovered my logo mentioned on a Vietnamese design blog, in an article called “12 famous logos designed with simple icons”. Heavy use of Google Translate here of course. From what G.T. tells me, the writer is saying something like this:
“..famous logos are simple but very creative and meaningful. An effective logo is able to communicate business purposes in the simplest way possible. Today I will explain how these famous 12 logos are created by using symbols and simple shapes such as circles and rectangles. This does not mean that the logo design process involved in creating the icon is simple. It just shows the importance shapes and symbols in simple logo design.”
About the PID logo, the writer explains how the shapes that resemble the speech bubbles are constructed of cirles, rectangles and triangles.
The piece includes some really famous logos like Pepsi and Adobe. Needless to say that my logo is in a completely different level of fame, but very cool to see someone at the other side of the world noticing my work. Thanks for mentioning me, MyThuat24h!
